Nelson Recruitment Services are urgently looking for Warehouse Operatives to work in a processing Business on a temporary assignment until Min/End of June based at Lingfield Point, Darlington DE1 carrying out Manual Handling Duties and operating a guillotine machine. Training for this role is provided but candidates must be able to carry out heavy lifting. Candidates must be able to work Bank Holiday 26th May.
Interviews will be taking place 25th March 2025.
Hours: Choice of Shift - full time positions available
- Mon - Fri 06:00 - 14:00
- Mon - Fri 14:00 - 22:00
Pay: (Weekly pay)
- AM Shift £12.95ph
- PM Shift £13.95ph
A discretionary bonus is available upon completion of assignment.
Duties: (You must be flexible to help other departments)
- Manual Handling of boxes
- Lifting and handballing
- Sorting incoming and outgoing pallets
- Sorting product to the correct areas
- Ensuring and feeding into constant flow of production
- The role may require you to be flexible and to assist with other areas of the business which may include computer work
- Use of the PPT
This role will require candidates to be stood and lifting throughout the shifts.
Ideal Candidate:
- Pass a background check (DBS)
- Candidates must be able to read and write English to a good standard
- Previous warehouse experience
