Weβre looking for Generator Service Technicians to join our clients busy service team in Barking. As a Generator Service Technician, you will have an integral role within the service team, assisting in the delivery of the business's on-site activities. You must be able to work independently or as part of a team to meet customer expectations and achieve our company goals.

Generator Service Technician - Requirements & Responsibilities
- To cover all aspects of generator servicing including oil and filter changes and oil, fuel, and coolant sampling.
- To conduct load bank testing on customer-owned generator units.
- To accurately fault find and diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues.
- To work on a broad range of generator/engine brands including (but not limited to) Cummins, Perkins, Caterpillar, John Deere, Volvo, Scania, Iveco, and Dorman.
- To be able to work independently on engines from 2kVA to 2.5mVA.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in the generator industry or similar.
- Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues.
- Flexible and self-motivated, you will be keen to embrace new training opportunities, which may on occasion require staying away from home.
- Great communication skills β both verbal and written.
- Customer-Focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service.
- Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- A valid driving licence with no more than 6 points.
