Our client, a leading company in the bus and coach industry renowned for its engineering excellence and innovation, is expanding its team. They are looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their dynamic accounts team. The successful candidate will be part of a five-person accounts and admin team, reporting directly to the CFO. They will provide essential support to both the CFO and directors by producing timely and accurate management accounts. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Monthly production of an audit file for all balance sheet accounts
  • Supervision of the fixed asset register
  • Completion of the monthly vehicle stock takes
  • Supervision of the vehicle profit reports to ensure all costs are captured and the sales are reported correctly
  • Supervision of sales and purchase ledgers
  • Cost analysis of key expenditure areas
  • Credit control
  • Update of the monthly sales log
  • Preparation of the VAT return
  • Oversight of the FGAS log
  • Oversight of Customs log

Experience & Skills:

  • At least 3 years' experience as a management accountant
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Highly organised with strong computer literacy
  • High level of accuracy and keen attention to detail
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Flexible and enthusiastic individual
