Debbie Burbage Recruitment is proud to support our client, a well-established business in Milton Keynes, in its search for a Part-Time Assistant Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to join a small and friendly team in this newly created role, which will provide additional resources and support to the existing finance team, reflecting the company’s appreciation of its staff.
The Role
Reporting to the FD, key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with preparing management accounts, including prepayments, accruals, and journal postings.
- Monitoring and updating the cash flow model daily.
- Monitoring and reconciling bank accounts.
- Undertaking balance sheet reconciliations.
- Providing additional support to the finance team as needed, such as data analysis, assisting with audits, or handling expense reports.
- Assisting during busy periods with invoice processing, supplier payments, and customer receipts, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations.
- Working closely with colleagues across the business to provide financial insights and ensure efficient operations.

Remuneration
- Salary: £16 - £20 per hour depending on experience
- Hours: 20 - 25 per week – office-based Monday to Friday (flexible start and finish)
