CNC Setter/Operator 📍 Location: Morley, UK ⏰ Shifts: Rotating weekly: * Early Shift: 06:00 – 14:30 * Late Shift: 14:00 – 22:20 💰 Salary: £28,000 per annum About the Role Our client, a well-established precision engineering company based in Morley, is looking for an experienced CNC Setter/Operator to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to work in a fast-paced, high-quality manufacturing environment, setting and operating CNC machines to produce precision-engineered components. Key Responsibilities: * Set and operate CNC machines to produce high-quality parts * Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Perform quality checks using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges) * Adjust machine settings to maintain optimal production efficiency * Carry out routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues * Work to tight tolerances and ensure all work meets quality standards * Maintain a clean and safe working environment Requirements: ✅ Previous experience as a CNC Setter/Operator ✅ Proficiency with Fanuc / Mazak / Heidenhain controls (desirable) ✅ Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings ✅ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills ✅ Experience with quality inspection tools ✅ Willingness to work rotating shifts Benefits: ✔ £28,000 per annum ✔ Permanent, full-time role with career progression opportunities ✔ Supportive and friendly team environment If you have the skills and experience to excel in this role, apply today
