Are you searching for a new path within your career in Early Years? Monarch Education are currently working with a Nursery School in the Northfield area of Birmingham to find a Level 3 Nursery Nurse who is heavily experienced supporting pupils with SEND. This role is Wednesday to Friday 9am - 3pm and personal care will be required. You must hold at least a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare to be considered for this role.

Requirements of applicant:

  • You must hold a Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years
  • You must have experience supporting children of EYFS age with SEND Needs
  • Knowledge of the EYFS and SEND National Curriculums
  • Understanding of various SEND conditions and how they impact children's learning & development
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt support methods and strategies to meet diverse needs

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to children in the setting's SEND Inclusion
  • Ensure the inclusion of SEND pupils in all nursery activities
  • Support children in the setting's forest school
  • Work closely with the SENCO to implement and review IEP's
  • Support the social, emotional and cognitive development of all children in your care
  • Apply positive behaviour management techniques at all times
