The General Dental Council (GDC) have an exciting opportunity for a Overseas Registration Examination Advisory Chair to join us as an Associate.\\n\\nOverseas Registration Exam Advisory Group (OREAG) Chair\\n\\nDaily Fee: £353\\n\\nLocation: London\\n\\nThe General Dental Council (GDC), the body responsible for regulating the UK dental profession, invites applications from registered dentists in current employment with a wide experience in dental examinations and quality assurance to join its team of OREAG members as the Chair, for an initial period of 3 years with the possibility of extension to 5 years.\\n\\nThe London based Overseas Registration Exam (ORE) tests the clinical skills and knowledge of overseas dentists who wish to apply for registration to practise in the UK.\\n\\nA good working knowledge of current guidance on UK undergraduate dental curriculum and standards, and contemporary evidence-based assessment methods is required; as is knowledge of examination quality assurance including standard setting, blueprinting and examiner calibration.\\n\\nApplicants must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per year to chair OREAG meetings and a minimum of 1 day for the examiner training.\\n\\nPlease see the attachments for further information on the Overseas Registration Exam, role profiles, remuneration details and application form.\\n\\nClosing date for applications: 23 April 2025.\\n\\nPlease no agencies unless instructed otherwise
