Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Damp and Mould Building Surveyor to join one of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed surveys and inspections to identify and address issues related to damp and mould in residential properties. This role involves diagnosing problems, recommending solutions, and ensuring the implementation of effective remedial actions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive surveys and inspections of properties to identify damp and mould issues.
  • Diagnose the causes of damp and mould, including condensation, leaks, and structural defects.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and cost estimates for remedial works.
  • Liaise with contractors and oversee the implementation of remedial works to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Provide technical advice and support to clients, tenants, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage damp and mould complaints, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to damp and mould control.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Professional membership with RICS, CIOB, or equivalent is preferred, but not essential.
