A Special Needs school based in Cranbrook are currently looking for an ambitious Special Needs Teacher to join their team. The Special Needs School promotes a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where young people with Special Needs thrive. An emphasis is placed on preparing learners for their lives after school and assisting them in identifying and achieving their aspirations. Key responsibilities as Special Needs Teacher: Tailoring lessons and teaching methods to meet the unique needs of students with various disabilities or learning challenges, Regularly assess students’ progress through observations, tests and adjusting teaching strategies as needed to support their development. Implement strategies to support students with behavioural challenges, ensuring they remain focused and engaged in learning. Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils.Requirements: Knowledge and understanding of a range of special educational needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and behavioural difficulties. QTS The Right to Work in the UK. Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service or be happy to apply.
