A Leading International practice with locations around the world specialising in multiple disciplines known for their sustainability and innovative designs.
The candidate will provide technical support directly to project team members and liaise with the BIM Coordinators and Technicians, and ultimately to the Technical Director (BIM), providing feedback on the teams requirements for training, workflows, or content. The candidate should be from an architectural background, have good written and oral communication and be competent in the below areas.
Staff are required to attend the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
Management:- Working knowledge of ISO19650.
- Ability to work with, and understand the information needs of our clients.
- Assist in the production of a BIM Execution Plan (BEP).
- Assist to establish the project teams Responsibility Matrix (MPDT).
- Assist in population of a Task Information Delivery Plan (TIDP).
- Produce a BIM modelling standard.
- Knowledge and experience of administration of a CDE.
- Ensure compliance with project standards.
- Chair BIM project and team meetings.
- Project team support and training (in-house).
- Knowledge and experience in maintaining and delivering project BIM models.
- Experience in delivering projects to BIM standards with validation and QA processes is highly beneficial.
- Experience with medium to large scale complex projects within an architectural office is essential.
- Advanced understanding of volume strategies, clash avoidance strategies, issue management and MEP & Structural coordination management is highly beneficial.
- Setup of a project model (in-house).
- Manage the setup of the other project models (supply chain).
- Production of 3D model elements.
- Production of model outputs.
- Assist in the preparation of COBie information.
- Production of COBie deliverable.
- Manage COBie information and deliverables process (in-house).
- Advanced knowledge and experience of Revit and related plugins is essential.
- Knowledge and experience of visual scripting interfaces such as Dynamo is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge and experience of Navisworks, running clash detection, and producing clash reports is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge and experience of working using BIM360 based projects (Docs and Design) is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge and experience of Solibri, running data, geometry checks, producing reports, and creating rules is beneficial.
- Knowledge and experience of working with point clouds in software such as ReCap Pro is beneficial.
- Knowledge and experience of Bentley MicroStation and AECOsim is beneficial.
- Knowledge and experience of issue tracking software such as Revit to, BIMCollab and/or BIM Track is beneficial.
- Knowledge and experience of other software such as Rhino and Enscape is beneficial.
- Knowledge and experience of other software such as NBS Chorus is beneficial.
- Knowledge and experience of coding is beneficial.
