A leading residential developer is looking to appoint a Senior Technical Coordinator to join their established team based in the Bristol area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically proficient and driven individual with experience working for a housebuilder or developer, particularly on multi-unit residential schemes.
The Role
As a Senior Technical Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the design and technical delivery of residential developments from planning through to construction. You\βll act as a key interface between design consultants, internal departments, and construction teams, ensuring technical information is accurate, compliant, and delivered on programme.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate design consultants to produce working drawings and technical documentation
Ensure all information complies with current building regulations and planning conditions
Oversee the submission and approval of Building Control and warranty provider documentation
Provide technical support to the site and commercial teams throughout the build process
Attend and lead project meetings, reporting on technical progress and identifying any risks or delays
Requirements
Experience working for a residential developer or housebuilder is essential
Strong understanding of multi-unit residential developments
In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, planning, and NHBC/LABC standards
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders with attention to detail
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
