Applications Engineer / Proposals Engineer / Technical Sales Support to join a leading HVAC manufacturer. This role will be required to take projects from conception through to completion, providing quotation, estimates, calculation methods, and client liaison to meet bespoke requirements on a range of HVAC ventilation products such as air conditioning, fans, heat recovery systems, and air source heat pumps (ashp). The ideal candidate will have a background in undertaking estimates, quotations, and a general understanding of HVAC products. This is an office-based role in Manchester.

Role:
- Prepare detailed quotation and estimates for ventilation products such as air conditioning, fans, heat recovery systems, and air source heat pumps (ashp).
- Provide technical guidance to clients ensuring HVAC ventilation products are suitable from performance and design perspective.
- Direct engagement with customer base of M&E Contractors/M&E Consultants to understand requirements and tailor solutions.
- Work closely with Projects Team and External Sales professionals.
- Must be able to commute to the office in Manchester.
Requirements:
- Experience as an Applications Engineer, Internal Estimator, Technical Estimator, Technical Sales Support, Sales Support Engineer, Proposals Engineer, Pre-Sales Engineer, HVAC within the HVAC industry.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC ventilation products such as air conditioning, fans, heat recovery systems, and air source heat pumps (ashp).
- Technical Mechanical Engineering/Building Services Engineering degree, HND/HNC, or higher level qualification would be advantageous.
- Experience of direct communications with clients including M&E Contractors and M&E Consultants.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings/specifications.
- Must be able to commute to the office in Manchester.
