An established engineering consultancy is seeking a Hydraulic Modeller to join its growing team. Specialising in water, wastewater, and construction projects, the company utilises advanced technologies to deliver innovative and efficient engineering solutions.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to key infrastructure projects, with scope for progression into a Senior or Lead Design Engineer position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and delivery of hydraulic engineering solutions.
- Conduct fluid mechanics assessments, particularly for water industry projects.
- Use HADES software for hydraulic modelling and analysis.
- Plan and oversee flow surveys to support design decisions.
- Work closely with clients to interpret model outputs and ensure project objectives are met.
- Prepare technical reports and calculations for hydraulic designs.
- Maintain effective communication within project teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including CDM 2015.
Requirements
- HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in hydraulic engineering, particularly in the water and wastewater sector.
