Structural Designer

We are looking for an experienced Structural Packaging Designer with expertise in CAD software and a strong background in folding boxboard packaging. This role is focused on structural packaging design, not graphic design. About the Role: The Structural Packaging Designer will be responsible for developing and designing innovative packaging solutions using CAD software. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in structural packaging design and be able to create functional, cost-effective packaging solutions. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and design structural packaging solutions using CAD software such as ArtiosCAD or AutoCAD * Create and modify dielines, prototypes, and technical drawings for folding boxboard packaging * Work closely with the production and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are feasible and efficient * Solve structural challenges and optimize packaging for cost, sustainability, and functionality * Ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications Key Requirements: * Proven experience as a Structural Designer in packaging, ideally with folding boxboard * Strong proficiency in CAD software for structural packaging design * Knowledge of packaging materials, production processes, and industry standards * Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients to develop innovative solutions * Must live locally to the factory for an easy commute What We Offer: * Opportunity to work with an innovative and growing packaging company * Involvement in exciting projects with leading brands * Competitive salary and benefits package * Career growth and professional development opportunities If you have the skills and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you
