Quantity Surveyor

Sphere Solutions are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a freelance assignment on a residential project in Wantage. The successful candidate must have experience using COINS software and a strong background in residential construction. Key Responsibilities: * Managing project costs to ensure profitability and budget control. * Preparing valuations, variations, and final accounts. * Using COINS software for cost management and reporting. * Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams. * Ensuring compliance with contract terms and procurement processes. * Supporting the commercial team with forecasting and cash flow management. Requirements: * Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the residential sector – essential. * Proficiency in COINS software – required. * Strong negotiation and analytical skills. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. * Excellent communication and commercial awareness.
