Class 1 Driver in East London

The suitable candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• minimum of 1 year Class 1 experience
• experience with double deck trailers
• maximum of 6 points on licence for minor offences (No DD/DR/IN/CD codes)
• good communication skills
• good knowledge of Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive

This is a trunking role requiring the driver to do 5 on 3 off rotating shift, so will include weekend working and involves some very light handball. You will be given a rota.

Start times are between 12:00pm – 17:00pmbut you must be flexible to start between these hours.

Driving assessment including a theory test is required as part of the pre-employment process.

There is a potential for a permanent job for the right candidate.

Pay rates are:

£18.48 – 7 days a week

Holiday is accrued on top at 13%

Breaks are paid on all shifts.
