Are you looking for an opportunity to take a lead role in electrical & electronic design? The products are complex, interesting and have a positive impact on people’s lives. You’ll get training on the products and the processes, but you’ll bring your technical know-how on the design and best practice.

As part of a close-knit NPD team, you’ll be working with other engineering disciplines to ensure a robust end-product. The team really enjoy the environment; some have been there for years, and some have joined more recently. But with an exciting product roadmap to be delivered over the next 3-5 years, they are looking to bring in a Senior Engineer, who is also passionate about helping more junior engineers.

The Electrical & Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development and testing of products across a portfolio of interesting products. You will:

  • Work as part of the NPD team to design and develop electrical & electronic solutions.
  • Design both electrical & electronic systems.
  • Conduct defect analysis, debugging and problem-solving.
  • Integrate and test electronics with mechanical hardware.
  • Mentor junior electronics engineers.

The Candidate: Electrical & Electronic Design Engineer

You will consider yourself to have strong electronic design skills, be confident in voicing your opinion and ideas, and will also have:

  • Practical experience in developing electrical and electronic systems.
  • Experience of working with PCBAs to component level.
  • Proficient using design software such as ePlan, Solidworks Electrical, KiCAD or Altium.
  • Strong fault-finding capability.
  • Great communication skills.
