We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join an established Manufacturing business based in the Dudley area. The Quality Engineer will work across two sites maintaining and developing product quality improvement and working to improve manufacturing processes.
As a Quality Engineer you will be required to:
- Carry out data analysis
- Participate in the development & resolution of quality issues (at customer & Tier 1 levels)
- Identify root cause of any issues & put in place any corrective measures
- Maintain communication of internal & external rejects to stakeholders
- Provide support to the Quality Manager
Requirements:
- Technical foundry knowledge or similar would be an advantage
- Knowledge of production processes & foundry capabilities
- Experience of managing quality systems
- Able to influence change and drive improvement
- Embed improvement into process activities
- Maintain a culture of quality
