A company based at Oxford Airport are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Flight Operations Officer to join their team based within a busy and versatile Airport Terminal. The Flight Operations Officer will focus on the efficient handling of all aircraft movements and requests through London & Oxford Airport. The role will be responsible for liaison with both flight crews and passengers, as well as other airport departments, to ensure effective and timely operations, whilst always providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate flight schedules. Ensure all operations comply with relevant aviation regulations and safety standards. Assist/Liaise with UK Border Force requirements Receive and greet all visitors, passengers and crew upon arrival at the airport terminal Maintain/disseminate all airport weather warnings Communicate with flight crews and ground teams to ensure efficient operations. Assist in the preparation and management of flight documentation. Arrange and monitor all relevant flights for NASP/Screening Monitor and resolve operational issues, such as delays or cancellations. Arrange and record ancillary services as requested by crews and or passengers Monitor all computer systems to ensure all customer requests are prioritised and dealt with promptly Prepare departure packs for outgoing crews, including weather information, NOTAMs, and ATC instructions Assist with airport emergency procedures as per the Aerodrome Manual Liaise with Ground Handling for information positioning of aircraft on the airfield, refuelling & related services Raise invoices and process payments for landing fees, fuel, and any additional services Control airfield access from the terminal building and manage all aspects of ground handling and customer service. Adhere to all health, safety, and welfare guidelines, reporting hazards and unsafe practices immediately. You need to have strong communication skills, with a focus on customer service, good administration skill and able to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment and flexibility to work in shifts as required and full training is provided. Due to the location and hours you need to drive and have your own transport and flexible to work shifts including weekends and they are planned 6 months advance so you know what you are doing to make your own plansβ¦ 3 days of earlies β 6am β 2.30pm then 3 days of late 2.00pm β 10.30pm and then 3 days off Salary is Β£26,500k, 28 days holiday, 5% pension, smart uniform and working in a happy team
