Streamline Recruitment is searching for HGV1 (C+E) drivers on behalf of our customer based in Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex.
General details & requirements:
- This will be night trunking work, usually starting between 16:00-22:00.
- Shifts will generally be Monday to Friday, with some occasional weekend shifts available.
- There will sometimes be day work available as well, so please get in touch if this is something you’re interested in.
- In addition to driving conventional artic vehicles, candidates must also be willing to drive wagon & drag vehicles if required - full training will be provided by the customer.
- You must be 25 years of age or older for insurance purposes.
- You will be required to pass an assessment.
- We will need to provide our customer with a 5 year work history.
- Candidates must have the following documents:
- UK C+E licence - ideally with 1 year of practical experience but new drivers are also welcome to apply.
- UK Digital tachograph card
- UK CPC card
Payment information:
- Please note this position is PAYE only:
- Monday to Sunday, first 8 hours - £20.17
- Overtime after 8 hours - £23.88
- 6th Day - £28.65
- Night Shift allowance - extra £11.04 per shift
- Minimum 8 hours guaranteed
- A 45 minute break will be deducted after the minimum hours worked
- Weekly payments every Friday
