Duties for the role of Architectural Technician:

Prepare and submit planning drawings and documentation
Prepare and develop planning schemes to detailed construction drawings
Produce technical specifications, tender, and working drawing packages
Ensure high quality delivery of producing drawings
Attend site appraisals, surveys, client meetings and site inspections
Undertake principal designer duties such as liaising with clients

Skills, experience, and responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technician:

Relevant degree within Architectural design
Relevant post qualification experience as a Technician within a UK practice
Experience working on projects within the Healthcare sector
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
CIAT registered would be advantageous
Good working knowledge of UK building regulations
Strong technical abilities
Ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Live within a commutable distance to the Birmingham area
