Carpentry Site Manager Required in West London GVR Solutions are currently working alongside an existing client of ours who are a specialist Carpentry and Joinery contractor based in Kent who are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join their well established team. They have just landed 3 new projects with one of them being in West London. The project in West London is a refurbishment of an old hospital building so refurbishment experience is essential. Responsibilities of the Carpentry Site Manager: * Oversee the day to day running of the site * Control and implement health and safety on site * Manage quality control and progressive handovers of installation * Co-ordinate site activities in line with programme sequence * Schedule materials and deliveries in adequate time * Attend progress meetings * Oversee projects from start through to completion, ensuring works are completed on time * Manage record keeping for all contract related correspondence and documentation * Provide contract related issue resolution, both internally and externally As a Carpentry Site Manager you must have/be: * Experience as a Site Manager * Minimum of 5 years experience in the Carpentry and Joinery sector * Ability to work to programmes and deadlines and be flexible to adapt to change. * Have great attention to detail * CSCS Card * SMSTS card holder. * Demonstrate negotiation and problem solving * Excellent verbal communication skills If you are interested in the Carpentry Site Manager role, then please get in touch
