About the Role

As an Apprentice Flexographic Platemaker, you'll gain hands-on experience and develop key skills in the world of packaging and print production. You'll be fully supported as you learn the end-to-end process, from receiving digital files to the final plate production, ensuring you build a strong foundation for a successful career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn all aspects of the flexographic platemaking process, from artwork preparation to final plate production.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Handle and maintain platemaking materials, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Operate state-of-the-art platemaking equipment and software to produce high-quality printing plates.
  • Check final plates for accuracy, quality, and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
  • Keep detailed records of work completed and maintain an organised work environment.
