Solihull College is looking for a lecturer who can deliver Painting and Decorating to adult learners, equipping them with fundamental skills and knowledge of the trade. Delivery will be at our Woodlands Campus on either a Tuesday or Wednesday evening for 2 hours. Initially, the role is for 2 hours of teaching a week, but more hours could become available in the future.

Possessing extensive experience of painting/decorating, you will have excellent communication skills, with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and have the ability to work as part of a team and independently. You will be required to deliver all programmes in a timely manner to ensure high levels of student satisfaction, attendance, retention and ultimately success.

You must hold or be prepared to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification. You will also be an excellent administrator, well organised and able to meet deadlines.
