Our long established logistics client based in Newark Upon Trent, Nottinghamshire has an urgent requirement for HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join their team on a regular ongoing basis.
Job Description:
- Work involves Class 1 HGV Driving Tramping work across the UK to Manufacturing Sites or similar types of site.
- Trailer swaps only, no handballing.
- Nice easy clean work, good fleet of vehicles and a nice company to work for.
- Monday to Friday work, weekends also available if required.
Licence requirements:
- HGV Class 1 Licence (newly passed may also be considered).
- Up to date CPC for your Class 1.
- Up to date Digi card for your Class 1.
You must:
- Have a positive attitude and a great work ethic.
- Be punctual.
- Maintain a smart appearance as you will be representing the company (no jeans etc.).
- Keep vehicle clean and to a good standard.
- Good communication skills are essential for this position as you might be needed to be contactable throughout the shift.
Salary:
- All the below rates are PAYE only, no umbrella or limited company.
- Days per hour: £15.00 ph.
- Night out allowance of £25.00 per night out.
