Overview

Role and Responsibilities
- Work in confined spaces, including confined space entry, preparation, and cleaning using pressure washers and various tools.
- Perform high-pressure water jetting up to 7,000 psi (and Ultra High Pressure (UHP) jet washing where qualified).
- Apply hand-laminated systems to tanks, vessels, and bunds.
- Use hand-applied and airless spraying methods for coatings.
- Conduct media blasting both in-house and at customer premises.
- Carry out concrete repairs and apply screeds.
- Conduct tank lining inspections and repairs.
- Perform manual handling tasks.
- Work at height where necessary.
Daily Tasks
- Understand, adhere to, and accept Risk Assessments and Method Statements, including the ability to complete Dynamic Risk Assessments.
- Utilize various tools to remove hazardous materials while ensuring safety and avoiding unnecessary risks.
- Cooperate with line management to ensure compliance with site rules by personnel, contractors, and visitors.
- Work alongside your team to develop equipment, plant, and systems to improve safety, health, environmental and quality standards, and operational efficiency.
- Promote safety, health, environmental, and quality awareness among personnel, contractors, and visitors.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping at all times.
- Report faults on plant, equipment, and infrastructure to the line management team.
- Assist in the maintenance of plant equipment.
- Participate in regular training sessions and support others with their training needs where required.

- IT Literate: Comfortable using mobile apps to receive and action jobs.
- Travel & Flexibility: Willing to work away from home for multiple nights at a time (up to 12 nights).
- Weather Conditions: Prepared to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Flexible Working Hours: Available to work flexible hours as required by the business.
- Teamwork & Independence: Capable of working as part of a team or independently where required.

- Additional duties may be assigned by your line manager as required.
