Our Tamworth based client, immediately requires a Transport Administrator. Possible permanent positions following a successful trial period. Duties include working with the distribution team to deliver customers freight within the agreed timescale and customers specifications for each consignment., * Using all tools available to ensure that customers freight is delivered ‘on time and in Full’, whilst growing our Gross Profit.

Delivering best in class performance by planning trunk routes to consistently achieve against a range of measures: (including but not limited to) fleet utilisation, Health, safety and legal requirements, customer specifications (times) etc following all company processes and procedures.

Conducting a daily review of the previous day’s performance creating the Trunk report, to understand the Root Cause of any failed deliveries and create solutions to prevent re-occurrence, with feedback provided to management and the wider team.

Achieving your performance targets and objectives, acting upon opportunities for improvement as well as building on your own strengths.

Liaising with colleagues and 3rd parties around the UK to ensure a joint approach to delivering our customers freight

Working alongside the team to produce management reports as and when required.

Role model our corporate values, working as part of the distribution team to improve how we collaborate with others, communicate in a respectful way, and embrace a culture of coaching and feedback.

Continually growing your own knowledge and skills, enabling you to cover multiple roles as and when required.

Providing handover feedback at the end of every day to Management, supervisor, and colleagues.
