Meridian is looking to hire a Warehouse Operative for an ongoing temporary position. You will be joining a small team of logistics workers in a packing, storage and distribution area, working in a clean factory environment for a manufacturing firm in Cheltenham.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 2pm - 11.30pm

Warehouse Operative duties will include:
- Unpacking and storage of items
- Picking items to order and updating changes to stock levels (using electronic hand held terminal/scanner)
- Packing items for dispatch
- Completing related paperwork
- Checking containers for correct contents and reporting errors
- Support other warehouse operatives
Skills/experience required for Warehouse Operative:
- Previous experience in a warehouse role
- A strong level of literacy and numeracy (counting out items, checking part numbers, completing some basic paperwork)
- Ability to work at height as the role will involve working on a VNA truck at times
- Forklift licences / experience would be advantageous
- Powered pallet truck / lifting equipment experience would be advantageous
- VNA Licence / experience would be advantageous
