Due to growth, investment and company expansion, a leading manufacturer has a new vacancy for a Despatch & Planning Administrator. Offering excellent career opportunities, you will carry out key administrative tasks, including data inputting, releasing job paperwork, raising purchase orders and despatch & shipping processing.

The Role:

  • Assist in the coordination and management of planning & Despatch schedules and activities.
  • Maintain and update planning documentation and records.
  • Performing data entry duties.
  • Provide administrative support to the planning team, including preparing reports, presentations, and communications.
  • Raise Purchase orders.
  • Complete Shipping Documentation and upkeep of records.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth processes.
  • Assist with data analysis and reporting to improve planning efficiency and accuracy.

The Person:

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Must be computer literate and have a good working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of planning procedures and regulations is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is an advantage.
  • A knowledge of the manufacturing industry is preferred (not essential).
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
