We are looking for an experienced HGV2 Driver who lives locally to Brentwood. We are looking for someone who has experience driving large/heavy goods vehicles; experience in local authority or waste industry is a plus!
Skills: Safe driving, attention to detail, following routes, spatial awareness and teamwork.
Knowledge: Must know health and safety procedures and be familiar with local routes, but this is not essential.
Requirements: Must have a full clean driver's licence, HGV2 and rear steer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Following pre-planned routes and sticking to a schedule.
- Assisting loaders who will collect the waste.
- Transporting the waste to a waste facility.
This role: Start time 7:30am – 15:30pm Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week. This role is temporary but could possibly go permanent for the right person.
