The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

  • Using inspection equipment such as micrometers , calipers , verniers, shadow graph, thread wires, thread gauges, plug gauges, surface tester, CMM machine and others to make accurate measurement.

  • Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.

  • Creating non-conformance reports and ensuring containment of nonconforming components/product.

  • Supporting the shop floor by supplying accurate feedback on any manufacturing errors.

  • Read thoroughly all works order instructions, drawings and bill of material instructions to ensure all the Customers requirements are identified and fulfilled (reports completed, tests requirements met etc).

  • Maintain and check Material Reference Numbers (MFL’s) to ensure traceability system maintained.

  • Manage your work schedule to maximise throughput.

  • Check coated products for quality and damage as delivered by a subcontractor.

  • Assist with third party inspection visits if needed as internal audits.

  • Any other job requested by Quality Control Supervisor whether within or in another section.

The working hours are 3 days on 3 days off working 06;00 – 18;00., Essential Experience

  • Experience of working in related or similar role in manufacturing/engineering environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment

  • Worked in a quality contract Environment, * GCSE Math and English C/4 and above or equivalent

  • Be able to use measuring equipment

  • Ability to understand and read technical/engineering drawings

  • Ability to read BOM-Bill of Materials

  • Shall be familiar with ISO-9001 or similar Quality System

  • Decision Making/Problem Solving

  • IT Skills (Excel, Word )

  • Ability to communicate well with individuals at all levels of the business

  • Strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and detail oriented
