Using inspection equipment such as micrometers , calipers , verniers, shadow graph, thread wires, thread gauges, plug gauges, surface tester, CMM machine and others to make accurate measurement.

Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.

Creating non-conformance reports and ensuring containment of nonconforming components/product.

Supporting the shop floor by supplying accurate feedback on any manufacturing errors.

Read thoroughly all works order instructions, drawings and bill of material instructions to ensure all the Customers requirements are identified and fulfilled (reports completed, tests requirements met etc).

Maintain and check Material Reference Numbers (MFL’s) to ensure traceability system maintained.

Manage your work schedule to maximise throughput.

Check coated products for quality and damage as delivered by a subcontractor.

Assist with third party inspection visits if needed as internal audits.

Any other job requested by Quality Control Supervisor whether within or in another section.
