Financial Services firm based in Nottingham are looking for a Change Manager/Project Manager to report into their Head of Transformation. You will be required to support the Transformation Programme in executing its vision to mature the organisation's approach to project management. While there is no direct line management responsibility, the postholder will be required to lead on a variety of change projects to secure appropriate resources as required for successful delivery of assigned projects. Please note this role is hybrid working.
THE ROLE
- Developing the Target Operating Model that will improve the firm's client experience.
- Map ‘as-is' and ‘to-be' business states for operations, identifying opportunities for improvement, analysing impacts of change, and summarising options & recommendations.
- Identify and define processes across a broad population of interested stakeholders, spanning in business functions and cross-product groups, across a range of seniority levels.
- Work closely with the Data team to design the target state workflow and socialising options with business stakeholders.
- Evaluate business cases, assessing overall cost versus benefits per business requirement.
- Actively manage one or more projects end-to-end, maintaining alignment with programme milestones, and ensuring key deliverables are met to a high quality to progress the overall Transformation Programme roadmap. These projects can be both technical and business change.
- Conduct detailed project planning using project software including defining project milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
- Manage technology/vendor teams as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure success of the delivery of projects.
- As well as providing project management, you will be leading on the change management side of all projects and working with a variety of stakeholders to do this.

- The ideal Change Manager/Project Manager will have prior experience of:
- Experience of project management and driving change within a regulated financial services environment.
- Ability to work autonomously, quickly and with attention to detail, to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively/efficiently under pressure and within tight deadlines.
- Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive consensus and influence relationships at all levels.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Project management skills including developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans.
- Proven experience of the full project lifecycle from project scoping and requirements definition through to successful delivery and closure.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid project delivery methods.
