We are currently looking for experienced Social Workers to join our Permanence and Assessment & Intervention teams to help make a real difference in the lives of children and young people.
You will be part of a dedicated and close-knit team, working collaboratively to provide the best outcomes. With manageable caseloads, flexible working, and access to training opportunities, we ensure you have everything you need to thrive in your role.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a fair and balanced caseload within either Assessment & Intervention or Permanence teams.
- Conduct assessments, plan interventions, and provide support for children and families in need.
- Work closely with professionals across agencies to ensure effective safeguarding and long-term stability for children.
- Undertake court work, including preparing reports and giving evidence when required.
- Engage in direct work with children and families, using our Supporting Families, Enhancing Futures model.
- Contribute to Wirral's commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.
- Qualified and experienced Social Workers with HCPC/Social Work England registration.
- Proven experience in child protection, court work, assessments, and intervention.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multi-agency partners.
- Strong assessment, analytical, and communication skills.
- A commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
- Hybrid and flexible working, including remote working and an agile working kit.
