Care Support Worker

Care Support Workers needed for a brand new service opening in the area of Battle. It is supported living for 6 adults with a learning disability. The support workers will need to: • Work a full rota of lates, early and weekends • Be medication trained and administer • Have all the standard training expected (list outlined below) • Be LD experienced • Ideally have experience in complex health needs also Essential training requirements – • Medication (including administering) • Manual handling (the role will require moving and handling people safely) • Adult protection awareness • Basic personal care and hygiene • Continence aids/catheter care • COSHH • Emergency first aid • Equality and diversity • Food hygiene • Nutrition and hydration • Infection control Some of the tenants may have specific needs which we ESCC will source training for. A couple of our prospective tenants do have complex communication needs, such as Sign Assisted English and use of an electronic talking aid. Training and/or experience with these is desirable. The regular shifts are as follows: Early – 07:30 to 15:00 Late – 14:30 – 22:00 Night – 21:45 – 07:45 If interested please get in contact with Kojo
