We are seeking a bright and proactive CAD Technician to work alongside our existing design team. What we're looking for: • Strong IT skills, ideally experienced in CAD 2D and 3D systems such as Tekla, Fusion360, AutoCAD Inventor or experience in SolidWorks and able to adapt • Able to create detailed and accurate technical product drawings in a timely manner • Confident reading and understanding basic drawings • Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously • Flexibility – able to manage and prioritise a changing to-do list • Effective communication skills, able to build and maintain good working relationships • A keen eye for design as well as strong attention to detail and accuracy of your work is imperative The Role: • Translating initial sketches into 2-dimensional CAD drawings • Creating accurate and detailed drawings for new projects • Producing manufacturing drawings and specifications • Managing the documents for each project, implementing document control and drawing revision procedures
