NEW ROLES AVAILABLE FOR JANUARY 2025 Senior Salmon are working with a well-known UK wide brand and are looking to recruit Factory Operatives for their purpose built Modern Factory in Peterborough. The role will be to support in the efficient and smooth running of production with the main focus being quality of product. Duties will include: Assembling timber frame components. Handling and using tools such as nail and staple guns, hand saws and chop saws. Cutting timber and board materials to size using appropriate cutting equipment. Operating pneumatic and electrical plant and equipment, including hand tools. Line work on automated machinery Manual handling of product onto and off the lines Making wall panels using semi-automated framing equipment and hand tools Fitting metal joist hangers and other components using hand tools. Assembly of external and internal wall Panels and partitions including the assembly of floor cassettes. Loading sub-assemblies into the automated line. Manufacturing timber frame panels on an automated production line. Using Overhead cranes to offload panels from the line. Carrying out day-to-day checks and maintenance of the equipment being used.
