Our client is expanding their Sea Freight/Transport team and is looking for an experienced Customs Clearance Specialist to join their Stanford-le-Hope office. About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and take on a pivotal role within the sea freight/transport environment. We’re seeking a professional with at least five years of Customs Clearance experience who can confidently handle key responsibilities, including: Key Responsibilities: * Communicating effectively with UK and overseas agents via phone and email. * Arranging FCL (Full Container Load) and LCL (Less than Container Load) cargo from origin ports to the UK. * Providing accurate freight quotes and general charge estimates. * Inputting data into the in-house system with precision. * Advising customs on shipment updates and handling releases and deliveries. * Preparing and issuing invoices. * Ensuring bills of lading are correctly endorsed. * Managing the full scope of ocean import processes, including customs clearance, releases, deliveries, and billing.
