Hours Of Work: Monday To Friday / 8:00am – 5:00pm (Flexibility will be needed)
Our client is a well-established signage and graphics company based in Berkshire, they are currently looking for an experienced Sign Maker / Installer to join their team. Responsible for the preparation of all types of signs, vinyl wraps and printed graphics. You will be working within the print and production operation area, working with various graphic and signage machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Application of vinyl films and graphics onto various substrates including vehicles, walls, doors and windows.
- Fit various signs and graphics including trays, post and panel, acrylic letters & signs, banners, large format print, and vehicle graphics.
- Attend site(s) to install various signage in a timely and efficient manner.
- Load and transport all signage, tools, hardware, and materials to the site safely, using company vehicles.
- Prepare the site for the installation by removing old signage and preparing the surface or structure for new signage.
- Carry out the signage installation works using various power tools and access equipment including ladders, scissor lifts, scaffold towers & cherry pickers.
- Interpret client briefs correctly with a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques.
- Conduct site surveys for signage work on client sites.
- Ensure company Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.
- Supporting the internal production team when needed.
Requirements:
- Must have hands-on sign making, signage & printed graphics installation experience.
- Must have hands-on vehicle graphics application experience (full wraps – an advantage).
- Architectural Film Application experience (an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience of Large Format Signage & Visual display installation (essential)
- Full clean UK Driving licence.
- Hold an active CSCS, PASMA & IPAF card (an advantage.)
