We are seeking a qualified Solicitor experienced in residential and commercial conveyancing to join our established firm which has strong long standing client relations. We are a firm that prides ourselves on the service we deliver to clients. We are accredited under Law Society CQS and Lexcel schemes for many years and have continuously maintained those accreditations.
The candidate will handle residential and commercial conveyancing transactions and will be expected to also cover other areas of private practice to include Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney to compliment the residential conveyancing work.
Duties
To deal with cases from the outset through to completion and up to and including file closure. To working efficiently dealing with initial enquiries from clients and keeping clients and third parties updated as conveyancing transactions progress. A client satisfaction approach is required in accordance with the ethos of the firm. Dealing with conveyancing matters throughout to include exchanging contracts completing Stamp Duty Land Tax/Land Transaction Tax returns and registration of title at Land Registry. The candidate will deal with freehold and leasehold matters and have experience in dealing with such matters. The candidate will support secretaries and be willing to assist colleagues. Research and drafting of legal documents. Transfer of property, declaration of trusts and mortgages will be undertaken by the candidate.
· Qualified Solicitor holding a practising certificate
· At least 3 years PQE
· Completed CQS courses successfully in last practice

· Delivery of clear and timely reports to clients and progressing client matters in a timely manner
