CKL Developments are an award-winning classic car restoration and racing business based in Battle, East Sussex, specialising in Jaguar powered cars from the 1950s and 1960s. We are looking to recruit an experienced race mechanic to join our busy team to help restore, prepare, and support cars at race events.
We are looking for the following skills and attributes:
- Experience working on classic cars, ideally in a motorsport environment
- Efficient and hardworking
- High standards of workmanship
- Good time management and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Good written and oral communication skills, especially with drivers and customers
- Good team worker
- Willing to travel throughout the UK, Europe and potentially worldwide
- Willing to work regular race weekends
- Full UK driving licence
- Computer literate
In addition, the following are also desirable but not essential:
- Experience of working on historic Jaguars
- HGV & trailer licence
