VEHICLE TECHNICIAN My client is looking for an experienced Technician or Diagnostic Technician or MOT Tester or EV Technician or a Technician who has all of the above, for their prestigious workshop. Location Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester / EV Hybrid Technician / PDI Technician / Vehicle Service Technician: Beeston / Nottingham Salary of the Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester / EV Hybrid Technician / PDI Technician / Vehicle Service Technician: Up to £45,000pa Depending on skills and experience My client, a busy and ever growing prestigious workshop and prestigious car centre are looking for a smart and forward thinking technician to join their site near Beeston Nottingham. You will be working for a company that have a vast amount of experience within the industry and have an excellent selection of cars. They are all about keeping customers happy by offering excellent personal service. As the Vehicle Service Technician you will take great pride in ensuring the vehicles are presented in the best possible light to reflect the excellent site and vehicles on offer. They are looking for someone who is either a Diagnostic Specialist, MOT Tester and Vehicle Technician or perhaps you have a bit of everything to offer. The Duties of the Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester / EV Hybrid Technician / PDI Technician / Vehicle Service Technician: * Carry out routine service works as per given guidelines * Provide regular work status updates * Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others * Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road testing vehicles after work has been carried out * Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDI\’s, service reports) in line with HSO, warranty and company requirements * Accurately complete job cards and reports, including any written descriptions of faults found or repairs completed The Ideal Diagnostic Technician / Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester / EV Hybrid Technician / PDI Technician / Vehicle Service Technician: * A minimum of NVQ L3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) or time served * A qualified diagnostic technician would be an advantage, preferably multi-brand * A keen eye for detail and recognising the importance of giving every car in the workshop the highest standard of care * EV / Hybrid Experience would be an advantage * MOT Testing experience would be an advantage * A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to collaborate with team members to overcome challenges and solve problems quickly * A huge passion for learning and keeping up with industry innovations to help you perform at your best * Strong technical background with experience of working as motor vehicle mechanic in similar role * Good communication skills * Ability to carry out repairs efficiently and to a high level of quality * Full UK Driving Licence If this great Technician role sounds perfect to you then please send your CV to Danica Baker at Sprint Recruitment
