About the job As the business is entering into an exciting phase of growth, the Technology Solution Group (TSG) are looking to add a Technical Delivery Lead (TDL) to the team, who will own all technical delivery aspects for identified offerings within our Data Governance as a Service (DGaaS) Managed Service framework aligned to our Data Governance offerings. This will be for specific customer(s) and report to the TDL Team Lead for our Data Driven solutions. This role would suit someone passionate about becoming a subject matter expert for software solution(s) that support delivering data-focused outcomes for customer(s) data governance initiatives, in the areas of data discovery, data minimization, and data classification use cases. The individual should understand software solution architecture, and have a proven ability of designing, planning, configuring, and driving value-based outcomes for the above-mentioned use cases. Role responsibilities Role responsibilities cover a wide range of activities related to customer service rollout, platform design, implementation, support, and ongoing management. Taking the Customer on a journey to use technology to help them scale their Data Governance initiatives. Running Workshops, Meetings, Interviews, etc. with our customers to help them understand more about our Data Governance software offerings and how we will use these to help achieve their outcomes. Serve as the main solution contact, and lead meetings for designated customers. Participate in platform implementation to enable it is built and tested to specification. Own the planning and design of the capacity and scalability of the technical solution to meet the needs of growing customer demands. Manage, design, and/or provide technical oversight for the onboarding or offboarding of data sources, including policies and configurations to ensure smooth onboarding, scans activities and results meet client requirements. Plan and provide oversight for changes related to infrastructure, networking, security, and applications. Act as a liaison between technical teams and the customer to ensure effective communication and relationship management. Own delivery of outcome after presales and customer sign-off and oversee implementation to ensure service meets specification. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as pre-sales, engineering, project, and product management to ensure smooth running of the service. Collaborate with internal teams to identify areas for improvement and enhanced service delivery. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing by documenting lessons learned and sharing insights. Create, own and maintain relevant documentation of the solution that comprises the service for new and existing customers. Technical Skills/Experience 3+ Years in a technical application support/ analyst role. Proven experience in the installation, configuration, and support of enterprise applications. Good understanding of both Structured and Unstructured data. Good understanding of Linux OS systems. Good understanding of cloud platforms, such as AWS and/or Azure. Good understanding of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker or OpenShift. Good understanding of Rest APIs and best practices. Experience of owning and maintaining technical design documentation for systems. Experience in system-wide monitoring solutions, such as LogicMonitor, Zabbix or similar. Experience in working with ITSM platforms. An understanding of common file protocols such as CIFS, NFS. An understanding of networking protocols TCP/IP stack, DNS and VPN. Hold a respective cloud platform certification – advantageous. Experience of BigID (or other technical discovery tool) software platform – advantageous. Experience with Python, Postman – advantageous. Experience with Regular Expression (RegEx) – advantageous. Experience with Data Visualisation tools (i.e. PowerBI, Tableau) – advantageous.
