  • Lead tax computations for a significant client portfolio and oversee the tax compliance process.

  • Delivering trusted advisory and technical knowledge.

  • Build trusted and long-lasting client relationships, being their go-to senior advisor.

  • Oversee the work of the tax team, ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.

  • Provide strong people management skills, managing workflow and mentoring junior staff.

  • Communicate technical matters in an easy-to-understand way.

  • Work closely with Partners on complex tax planning and advisory.

  • Review efficiencies and recommend new processes to improve workflow.

  • Drive the tax function’s strategic direction by scoping new business opportunities and identifying new service lines for the existing portfolio.

  • Set an example to the team as a hands-on and proactive Partner Designate.

We’re looking for someone who can lead a tax function with a commercial mindset, bring a fresh vision to an experienced team, and drive the firm’s strategic direction with a proven track record of business growth., * Qualified or QBE would be considered.

  • A proven track record of supporting tax clients within practice.

  • Strong business development skills and a passion to drive business growth.

  • Previous supervisory experience with great people management skills.

  • Adept at building trusted relationships within a client facing role.

  • Excellent IT skills and knowledge.

  • Strong leadership skills with a natural ability to inspire those around you.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Strong attention to detail and sound organisation skills.

  • £90,000 to £120,000 per annum
