Hexwired Recruitment have partnered up with a market leading design and manufacturing company. The company produce products in various industries such as life sciences, medical imaging and security. They are now on the hunt for a talented IT & Production Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of new and existing products., * Provide hands-on IT support alongside the IT Manager. Overseeing the technical needs of over 50 staff members in a hybrid work environment, with employees working remotely or from either office.

Serve as the primary contact for staff regarding all IT-related issues. delivering both 1st and 2nd line support while managing and tracking incidents via a ticketing system.

Perform routine system administration tasks, including monitoring backups, assessing network performance, and checking server statuses.

Administer and manage backup systems, antivirus software, email gateways, and other security systems.

Gain advanced proficiency in Office 365 and other Microsoft applications, including CRM. To assist staff with effective usage of these tools in their daily tasks.

Provide support for hardware-related issues, including Windows OS and BIOS updates, as well as troubleshooting audio and other hardware components.

Demonstrated experience in a 2nd Line IT Support or IT Technician position.

Proficient in installing, configuring, upgrading, and relocating PC hardware, software, and printing devices.

Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, MS Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory management, and Microsoft 365/Entra.

Familiarity with Terminal Services, Citrix, or VDA environments is a plus.

Solid understanding of networking concepts and firewall management.

Scripting (PowerShell, Batch Files, Linux shell, Python, PHP, etc.)
