CNC Machine Setter / Operator

Our clients in Princes Risborough are seeking a CNC Machine Setter and Operator to join them on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well established and growing Engineering company. The successful candidate will be responsible for CNC machine operation and minding within a small but busy machine shop environment. As a CNC Machine Setter / Operator, duties will include: * Setting and Operation of CNC machinery in accordance with accurate specifications ensuring that components are produced correct to drawing and delivered on time * To understand priorities and to work towards achieving delivery objectives * To always adhere to company procedures * To always maintain a high level of housekeeping * Maintaining a high standard of Health & Safety in general and with particular attention to the immediate work area, reporting any concerns to the line manager Essential Skills and Knowledge: * A good basic standard of education is required with an engineering bias * Good practical skills * Comfortable working to deadlines * Should have a strong team work ethic, with the ability to work unsupervised * Ability to read engineering drawings and instructions * Able to take instruction and complete those with a high attention to detail Preferred but not Essential Skills and Knowledge: * Experience of CNC operation and production engineering (Training will be given on the companies’ machines and products) * Hold a recognised engineering qualification/completion of apprenticeship In return, the company are offering a salary of between £27,000 – £30,000 per annum, D.O.E Full time 40.5 Hour Week (Monday – Thursday 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-3pm) 22 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays If you wish to find out more or apply, please contact Adam Southey at Sky Personnel Ltd
