My client is a leading manufacturer of vessels and pipework to the aviation industry with over 20 years of continuous growth culminating in over 16,000 global customers and an annual turnover north of 10 million pounds. They are looking to bring onboard a number of skilled and experienced welder fabricators to bolster their team in Morecambe. The ideal candidate will come from a strong fabrication background with experience working with Aluminium sheet, a proficiency in both MIG & TIG welding and an understanding of industry Health and safety standards. You will need to be based within a commutable distance of Morecambe for this role.
Welder Fabricator Job Overview
- Producing Aircraft refuelers for a range of top global brands
- Working with 3mm - 15mm thick Aluminium with various pipe and flange work
- Working from engineering drawings to fabricate a range of vessels and pipework
- Undertaking a range of fabrication practices including but not limited to; Cutting, Welding and Finishing
- Self-inspection on all work undertaken
Welder Fabricator Job Requirements
- 5 years previous experience in Welding / Fabrication
- Able to read and understand manufacturing drawings
- Knowledge of both MIG and TIG welding practices
- Knowledge and understanding of industry Health and Safety standards
- Experience welding 3mm - 15mm Aluminium
- Experience with Gas Cutting equipment
- Experienced in the use of overhead cranes and Slinging
- Based within a commutable distance of Heysham
Welder Fabricator Salary & Benefits
- £15.50 - £18.50 per hour DOE
- Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00 (42.5 hour's week)
- Overtime available
- 31 days holiday inclusive of public holidays
- Life insurance
