A leading environmental services provider is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their Environmental Fate team in Devon, South West England. They provide high quality marine and freshwater ecotoxicology, environmental fate and analytical chemistry services to the global pharmaceutical, agrochemical and wider industries. What you'll do:

  • Work as part of an experienced team to support environmental fate studies.
  • Maintain chemical inventories and liaise with suppliers as needed.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.
  • Operate and calibrate laboratory equipment, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Support a positive culture of safety and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality results on time, working flexibly with team members to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Assist in developing methods for environmental fate & physical chemistry studies.
  • Author analytical method protocols, SOPs, and reports.
