Our client are seeking an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team for a prestigious £10 million residential apartment development project in Rochdale. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for managing all cost aspects of the project, ensuring financial efficiency, and delivering exceptional value for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of cost control for the project, including budget forecasting, cost reporting, and procurement.
- Provide accurate and detailed cost estimates, tendering, and contract management.
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying and mitigating risks to the budget.
- Manage change orders, claims, and variations effectively.
- Collaborate closely with the project team, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Prepare and submit progress payment applications and reports.
- Maintain detailed project records, ensuring all financial documentation is up to date and compliant with regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within residential construction projects.

- Strong knowledge of the full project lifecycle from inception to completion.

- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification (MRICS desirable).
