About the role/job purpose
In conjunction with the Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships, develop and lead a corporate giving programme to create sustainable funding, in line with the Fundraising department strategy and Thames Valley Air Ambulance aims. To be responsible for the day-to-day management of corporate fundraising for Thames Valley Air Ambulance, maximising income from corporates and ensuring support is strengthened through compelling proposals and excellent stewardship.
Role Responsibilities to include:
- Develop and lead a corporate giving programme to create sustainable funding.
- Be responsible for the day-to-day management of corporate fundraising.
- Deliver the Corporate Partnerships income target and expenditure Budgets.
- Secure new multi-year corporate partnerships by identifying, researching and approaching prospects.
- Research, evaluate and develop new corporate fundraising opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of both new business and existing partnerships against income targets.
- Manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, building strong relationships and ensuring high level stewardship.
- Plan, manage and deliver corporate cultivation and stewardship events.
- Identify key senior contacts within your partnerships and drive stakeholder engagement plans.
- Participate in quarterly national fundraising meetings and corporate forums.
- Ensure all necessary agreements are in place and due diligence is undertaken prior to accepting corporate gifts.
- Maintain all corporate supporter records using the fundraising CRM system (Dynamics).
- Work with the Volunteer Fundraising Manager to assist in fulfilment of volunteer opportunities at corporate events.
Person Specification to include:
- Relevant experience in a similar role with proven track record of developing successful fundraising relationships.
- Proven experience in developing multi-year partnerships and providing outstanding stewardship.
- Good understanding of relationship fundraising techniques and corporate social responsibility.
- Strong communication skills - written, verbal and face to face.
- Excellent attention to detail and good project and time management skills.
- Capacity to work flexibly and be comfortable in a changing working environment.
- Current driving licence and access to a car.
