Leading manufacturer of high-performance facades and cladding solutions looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to develop the sales of their A1 non-combustible pre-coated solid aluminium panels throughout the UK.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- To report monthly to the Head Office, reporting sales/trends/activity of sales and services
- To identify growth opportunities and understand the customer needs
- To visit and introduce the company products to local architects, contractors, facade companies and fabricating companies
- Develop specific valued proposals to key customers based on critical success factors
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information via the CRM with full compliance
- Report trends, activities and market feedback to the Business Development Director
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- Functional Expertise – strong sales and negotiation skills (commercial) competence e.g. sales skills positive opening, probe, identifying opportunities and needs, support and close
- Understanding and Defining What Needs to be done – Identifies opportunities to maximise customer service and translate into sales. Able to develop plans to further penetrate e.g. key accounts / job sites. Anticipates and plans alternatives
- Getting Things Done – Effective time & territory management, e.g. time management. Stays the course to achieve objectives, (e.g. high potential prospects, sales of new products, key projects).
- Working with Others – Communicate regularly and effectively with colleagues – share leads and opportunities with colleagues. Sets targets and assists others to ensure they are met
PACKAGE:
- A competitive salary of £50,000 – £75,000 (dependent upon experience), plus car allowance
